During an outage of the ad server, you may prefer to remove the existing ad calls from your website, so that visitors can open and browse the site without having to wait for the ads to (not) load.

There are several ways to do this, depending on how your website is integrated with the ad server.

Regular ad calls (javascript)

You could search for occurrences of code lines that refer to a web address containing "ajs.php". By removing this code snippet temporarily, your site will load again. Please make sure you keep an exact copy of the code you remove, so you easily can restore it later.

Singe page call

You could search for occurrences of a code line that refers to a web address containing "spcjs.php". By removing this code line temporarily, or turning it into a comment, your site will load again. Please make sure you keep an exact copy of the code you remove, so you can easily restore it later.

DNS records

Perhaps it is not possible, or it takes too long, to implement one of the two suggestions above. There is an alternative that might help. It may require a bit more technical expertise or the assistance of your own internet provider.

If your ad server code uses a sub domain of your own domain name (for example servedby.example.com), you could consider eding the DNS record for that sub domain. Please contact us via a support case to inquire about an IP address to use for this.
